Volunteer Opportunities

Events of this magnitude are impossible to pull off without the hard work and dedication of a volunteer army.  The Festival of Trees will be no different.  As a result, we are looking for hard working, honest, dependable people with servant hearts and a passion for the mission and vision of The Ballard House.

We’ve broken down the event into manageable shifts that allow you to volunteer before, during and after the event.  With two days of holiday fun, there will be plenty of work to go around!

Please note, all volunteer communications will be distributed via email.  If you know others who would like to volunteer, please share this website with them and have the register online.  Remember, this is a great opportunity to get those required COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS for your schools and / or community organizations.

If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Christy Bohlen at (281) 529-5688.

So what is this event all about?

Festival of Trees is a rwo-day holiday event benefiting The Ballard House, a Cinco Charities community.  This magical event features hundreds of trees and wreaths decorated by local designers, corporations and schools.  There’s also shopping, entertainment, a kids zone, food trucks, delicious holiday treats, and much much more!

The event benefits The Ballard House, which is dedicated to providing temporary housing in our community with a warm, safe environment for individuals and their families who are visiting the Katy area for treatment of serious, often life threatening conditions.

Thank you for donating your time and energy to help Cinco Charities
make the Festival of Trees a huge success!
